3.4 swap auto to manual

 · hey im new to the forum, i was wondering how difficult it would be to swap from an auto to a 5 speed manual. is the 5 speed manual tranny different from the 5 speed? what would i need other then the transmission? how much do you think it would cost? help/ tips are appreciated, thanks.  · L Swap (Auto to Manual Trans) «on: , PM». Bought 96 4x4 auto trans reg cab. Crappy engine. auto trans and manual have different gears. I went from to ! It's a whole different truck.
